The Zen Oracle RDE Mallet wins Best New Concept putter in major National Club Golfer survey and top marks in the Value category....
The Judging panel declared
"Zen is one of the most intelligently designed putters in the last two years. Uniquely, this is a putter that works equally well on the Course and as a Trainer.
Extremely stable through the stroke and resistant to twisting when you catch one off-centre, the Oracle’s face Ridges – not grooves – help to combat side spin. On the practice green you can use the myriad training drills. Many custom fit options too!”

New Zen Oracle RDE Mallet wins "Best on Test " in National Club Readers Survey 2008
For the second time during the 2008 season Zen has been the handsome winner by 4 clear points in a major survey of new design putters. Once again, Zen proved to provide an all-round package boasting their unique composition of performance and game improvement. Its combination of striking looks, Tour feel AND exceptional value meant the panel were completely won over.
"The new Zen is the most visually distinctive putter on test, it’s a little surprising that Zen have topped our reader poll. However, the things our readers loved most about this high-tech club were the feel, balance and weight. Perimeter weighting has been used to boost the MOI factor and help with forgiveness on off-centre", National Cub Golfer

Comment from Mallet Putter Category Judge
Putter fans will remember the Zen Oracle training putter was designed to encourage a smooth putting motion. This design allows the weight to be distributed to the perimeter. Not impressed? Then skip the seminar and just use the putter. Any questions? We didn't think so.

K.J. TOPS TIGER’S TOURNEY WITH HELP FROM THE TOUR’S #1 TRAINING AND FITNESS DEVICE
Leaderboard™ training device helps propel K J Choi to top of PGA Tour leaderboard twice within five weeks.
When KJ Choi blasted out of the sand and straight into the hole at Seventeen, it was clear that there was no stopping our Korean LeaderBoard champion from notching up his second tour victory in five weeks.
Just like he did at the Memorial, KJ held firm to take out the tournament and score another win for the ever growing band of PGA Tour players who train on the LeaderBoard Golf Trainer.
At Memorial, it was Jack Nicklaus who presented KJ with his trophy. At Congressional he would shake the hand of Tiger Woods who was the host for The AT&T National - this is all becoming a habit for KJ.
And, of course we also had a tie for third with our own Stuart Appleby joining Jim Furyk and Pat Perez on 3 Under. One shot further back we had Robert Allenby in a tie for sixth with Tiger Woods.
Adding the trophy from Tiger’s event to the one he earned at Jack’s a few weeks ago, K.J. Choi stands as proof that “perfect practice makes perfect.” And not just any practice. Choi recently has been employing the LeaderBoard training device, the #1 swing-training and fitness-development apparatus on PGA TOUR. His preparation has notched him two wins within five weeks, making him one of only five PGA Tour players with multiple wins in 2007.
The LeaderBoard training and fitness device is used by top level pros including Choi, Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott and Robert Allenby, and develops both muscle function and motor skill (movement patterns) and physically prepares golfers with incredible precision and efficiency. By using the LeaderBoard, a golfer develops the legs and the muscles of the midsection needed to create a solid base of support while ingraining the correct movement patterns that generate powerful and accurate golf shots.
Thanks in part to his use of the LeaderBoard device in his practice routine, Choi finished tied for fifth in greens in regulation (hitting 75% of greens), tied for fifth in driving accuracy (hitting over 73% of fairways) and tied for 15th in driving distance, averaging just under 309 yards per drive. All of these stats combined produced a tournament leading 20 birdies for the week.
“My fitness work I put in with my trainers and the technique training I do with my swing coach both employ the Leaderboard,” said Choi. “I am certain that my recent success is in part due to this hard work and how good that product is.” |

K J Choi notches up 5th Leaderboard victory in 2007 season
Dublin, OH — Blitzing the Sunday field with a 7-under 65, KJ Choi won his fifth career PGA Tour title shooting a tournament record-tying 17-under par at this year’s Memorial Tournament and earned “Team Leaderboard” its fifth win of the 2007 season.
The Memorial’s leaderboard was more like a roster of great players who all use the Leaderboard Total Golf Game Trainer to improve their overall fitness, posture, balance and swing technique. Seven of the top 10 finishers are all players that do their training on the Leaderboard including Choi, Rod Pampling, Adam Scott, Geoff Ogilvy and Aaron Baddeley.
K J recently started working with Leaderboard principal coach Steve Bann. Besides tying the tournament record for lowest total score, he also hit 83 percent of his fairways with an average driving distance of over 280 yards and hit 70 percent of his greens over 72 holes. Just as important, KJ was seventh in putting highlighted by 4 huge par saving putts in the fourth round to preserve his victory. The combined effect of this performance had him hoisting the trophy next to his golfing hero, tournament host, Jack Nicklaus, at the end of the day.
"I just feel very honored and very happy to be living in the same age, same period of time as Jack is living, and to win his tournament is so meaningful to me. I can only think this was meant to be."
He can say that because when he was a prep school student, his physical education teacher, seeing potential in young Kyoung-Ju, presented him with a golf instruction book, "Golf My Way," translated into Korean. The author: Jack Nicklaus.

LEADERBOARD PLAYERS GO HEAD TO HEAD FOR TOP HONOURS AT SHELL HUSTON OPEN USA
Adam Scott and Stuart Appleby finish first and second at the Shell Houston Open, Texas. Up until the final putt of the 72nd hole of the 2007 Shell Houston Open, the question of who would be crowned this year’s champion remained in doubt. What was certain was the fact that the winner was going to be a player that centers his training on the PGA Tour’s most widely used physical training device, the Leaderboard Total Trainer. Australians Adam Scott and Stuart Appleby were one shot apart going into the final hole of this year’s tournament after trading off 330 yard plus drives, laser beam approach shots and clutch putts throughout the day’s round of scintillating golf by the two men.
Champion Scott was quick to declare, “I use the Leaderboard not only to train my body to move with maximum power but also to technically reinforce the proper timing of my swing. The training I do on the Leaderboard is paying huge dividends in my performance.” Meanwhile Stuart takes consolation, “I am not only a faithful user of the Leaderboard, I am an owner of the business as well and I would not jeopardize my reputation on a product that does not deliver results – so many of the guys use the product on Tour now that in 2007, it will probably be bigger news if a player does not train with the Leaderboard.”
The tables are turned in the following week when Stuart becomes the Australian flag bearer when leading The Masters at Augusta going into the final round. Both men went into this prestigious tournament in top physical form and that is in no small part due to the time they put in every week using the Leaderboard as the cornerstone of their physical training on tour. The Leaderboard uses an innovative resistance design to develop both muscles and movements specific to the golf swing. In addition to developing the optimum muscle function and motor skills, the Leaderboard is also incredibly effective in immediately identifying swing deficiencies in posture, balance, timing and power by physically cuing the player that something is not right and retraining the muscles and movements for more effectiveness. The product is used by many of the world’s best golfers including, Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott, Geoff Ogilvy, KJ Choi, Rod Pampling, Stephen Ames, Zack Johnson, Bob Estes, Steve Allen, Paul Gow, Michael Campbell, Mike Weir, Stuart Cink, Brad Faxon, Aaron Baddeley, Heath Slocum, John Senden Jesper Parnevik, and Brett Quigley. |

Oliver Fisher wins golf’s most prestigious amateur title The St. Andrews Links Trophy with new Zen Merc Blade putter.

In 2005 he entered the record books as the youngest player to gain selection for the Walker Cup in Chicago.
The Links Trophy was inaugurated in 1989 and is now one of the most prestigious amateur events in world golf. The Zen “Merc” Blade putter introduces patented and scientifically proven “RDE” (pronounced “Ready”) Dimple Error Correction face technology featuring precise micro ridges that work to counteract the adverse effect of the golf ball dimples. The putter was first brought into play by Stuart Appleby at Mercedes Championships in Hawaii, the opening event on the US PGA Tour, where he secured his record 3rd successive victory of this title. More recently Stuart went on to capture the Shell Huston Open by six shots; his largest ever winning margin.
RDE inventor and British engineer Dr Norman Lindsay has proven that “dimple error” can cause perfectly stroked and aligned putts of only five feet to miss the hole. While existing face grooves can only provide an 8% reduction, the new Zen RDE provides correction by typically 50%. This results in putts that stay online, roll true and a have feel that is both soft and responsive coming off of the face for maximum confidence and control.

Once again, eyes will be drawn to the 2004 Open Champion, Todd Hamilton, who started using the Zen Oracle training system prior to his rookie win at The Honda Classic earlier that year, and has since become a seasoned advocate of the Zen. This year, Zen is joined on the Players Practice Putting Green with Science & Motion Golf “SAM Putt Lab”, the World’s #1 putting analysis system. Together, this powerful combination offers competitors a vital insight into their swing mechanic and stroke technique in their quest to find that last minute edge. Stuart Wilson, the Silver Medallist at Royal Troon, made front page news when he famously captured his form to join the early leaders in 2004. It can now be revealed that Stuart together with Ian Rae, Scottish Golf Union National coach, started using the Zen system prior to the competing. The response gave rise to the SGU adopting the system, and Stuart alongside a growing number of fellow elite players now enjoy the positive benefits of Zen brings to their game.
